Rootbound Trailer
Shot in November 2020 during the height of the industry's adjustment to COVID-19, Rootbound almost didn't exist. Originally, producer Sharlene Richards and I had planned an entirely different thesis, and so with 7 weeks, we had to scrap all production and forge forward on an entirely new film. My friend and talented writer Meredith Waugh had shown me this script of hers ages ago, and in browsing through my files I knew it was not only right for our thesis, but right for the present moment.
With post-production wrapped in July 2021, Rootbound is now entering the festival circuit. You can find more information about Rootbound as well as its social media here:
