In summer 2020, bored after only the first couple months of lockdown, I heard about the Sundance Co//ab Classes and quickly signed up for Directing: Core Elements. Over the eight weeks of this course, I studied the director’s role, script analysis and breakdowns, working with actors, on-set production, post-production, and more. It all culminated in adapting a neutral script into a scene with our own creative take on the situation and characters. You can watch the resulting scene below:

In early 2021, choreographer William Byram contacted me to shoot a dance film for the 2021 JCE Jazz Dance Project. From their website, "The JCE Jazz Dance Project is a celebration of jazz dance featuring original works by emerging and established choreographers. " The dance is an original piece with an original performance of 3 Cigarettes in an Ashtray by Julia Koyfman. It premiered in April over Zoom. You can watch the film here:
